Istana Nurul Iman ( The Sultan of Brunei's Palace)

This is where the Sultan of  Brunei resides. It is the world's largest residential palace. They also use the palace for state functions.  It was designed by Leandro V. Locsin, and built by the Filipino firm, Ayala International. (for more details visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Istana_Nurul_Iman)

Once a year we visit this place specifically a week before Sultan's birthday. Driving around the area was a very nice experience. A street with detailed landscape enhanced by a lot of colorful lights. You definitely want to walk around on this.

Jame'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque - Kiarong Brunei

Have you been to this place before? if not, try to think again you might want to consider this in your list. This is the biggest mosque here in Brunei or  should I say "This is the heart of Brunei". What makes it beautiful is its golden domes, embellished minarets and also try to count its flashy light during night time . This is also known as Kiarong Mosque.

Getting here is definitely a breathtaking moment. Sure you will enjoy every scenery.

Tasik Lama - Bandar

This is the park where I used to jogged every Sunday. Its about 50 m away from my flat. It has a mini falls inside of it and on top of the falls there is a lake. A lot of people use to go here especially the old ones. If you're looking for a place to relax..well this is one of the place to be with.  A great place to escape the busy life in the city!

Jerudong Park

One week after we went to One Billion Barrel we landed on this park. They say this park was once full of rides. You don't need to pay for entrance or even for rides. You're not going to spent anything not a single cent  all you have to do is fall in line to whichever ride you may wish. Now, it  looks like a long forgotten park. There are still some operating rides like carousel and bumper cars and as for the rest of the park they made it a one whole big playground. This park is still a good place for picture taking tho.
